With a blanket covering me I touch the sky,
With a sprinkle of water for me I never dry,
I rise above the buildings that you stay,
To protect you from the winter sway,
I see! Therefore I am.
The rain clouds stop over for a quick break,
Resting on my shoulders covering my make,
I am hurt when times change,
Children become men and minds change
Absorb me within you,
Do not store me with you,
I think! Therefore I am.
Some see me as I am,
Only few see me for what I am,
Hear me as I sing,
See me as I swing,
Embrace me for my magnificence,
Accept me for my excellence,
Remember me my friend,
When one with me the thoughts never drench.
